Jammie Sundays

Happiness is staying in your jammies on Sunday and painting and drinking vanilla coffee ... or gardening, watching movies, exercising, reading or whatever you damn well please. Working on Sunday, or worrying how you will get it all done on Monday, is not happiness. Dropped this jammies-clad, purple-lipped girl along the water near an amazing tree in a spot that's kinda hard to see ... somewhere off Cordova and around a corner or two ... in a spot that reminds me of the sort of place where people should spend a Sunday, should they venture outside their house.

Erin steps outside the lines

After seven years spent trying to prove how fiercely independent she was, Erin had nothing left to prove, so she decided to let the walls down a little, and maybe even jump over a few ... carefully, though. Erin was left in an abandoned Winn Dixie shopping cart somewhere near the beach between Oakland Park Boulevard and Commercial. It was one of many on the street last night. ..... Whole lotta shopping carts.

Lorna plays jacks

It started with a quiet game of jacks and a few drinks after work, but Lorna got obsessed with it. She was good but the competition was stiff. Soon they were all gambling on jacks, and Lorna was betting her laundry money. Now Lorna's taken to wearing dresses because her jeans are all dirty and she can't afford to wash them. Left Lorna down at the Ugly Tuna upstairs at Riverwalk. I'd like to think she'll stay out of trouble there, but I have a feeling there's a game of jacks going on there as we speak. They're probably on fivesies by now.

Willy goes to The Field

Poor Willy. All the girls ignore him and kinda make fun of him because they say he's "too friendly," and they're just not interested in him that way. What they don't realize is that Willy doesn't care about them that way either. He just always wanted to have sisters, and he continues the search. Left him at The Field, where all the guys seemed to be drinking Guinness and the ladies, martinis. Left Willy in the women's room, where he'll get to hear plenty of sister talk.

Pixy Stix Jimmy

Went on a three-hour walk and left this tile around the bridge on Las Olas, near Storks. They have gondola rides. Some maniac man was screaming into his cell phone across the street, yelling "What are you, an asshole?" I'm sicking of seeing people talking on cell phones all the time ... especially yelling into them. I'm glad I don't have one of those things. Don't need one. Don't want one. Jimmy doesn't have a cell phone either ... but he does have Wax Lips. He also likes Pixy Stix and sometimes he has to poke a hole in the Wax Lips to get the Pixy Stix into his mouth.

Anti-bully Suzy

Pushed a little too far, Suzy came up with her own zero-tolerance for bullying policy. Her life is more manageable now, and she even made it out to an art show at a coffee house called Undergrounds (cute name). There thankfully weren't any bullies there. Despite that people were crammed in like sardines, there was no pushing or shoving. It's a teeny tiny little place and a more comfortable spot to visit when there's not so many people there. The art remains on display and for sale here for weeks after the show ends, so there's always time to see it later. Suzy's still there on a shelf in the rest room (there's just one). If you need her encouragement to develop your own anti-bullying policy, you can take her home. But remember, no bullying. None. Suzy's had it with bullies.
